Streetfilms, New York-based purveyor of films about all things bikey and transity, spent the last week of July in the Bay Area touring and shooting video of some of the region’s new infrastructure. Clarence Eckerson, Streetfilm’s creator, will be releasing a series of shorts on some of the most impressive new bike and transit lanes he observed. One of the highlights and the first film he’s releasing is about western Alameda’s new Point mixed-use and transit-oriented development, which features a long, raised cycle track that connects directly to the cross-Alameda trail on one side and the Seaplane Ferry terminal to San Francisco on the other.

This film was hosted by yours truly, Streetsblog San Francisco editor Roger Rudick. Enjoy.
