Earlier today, Streetsblog erroneously reported that the Trump administration is killing the TIGER grant program, based on a misreading of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao's remarks to a meeting of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. While the White House has moved to zero out funding for TIGER, Congress has continued to budget for the program. Streetsblog regrets the error.
