Hamilton Nolan is a longtime New York City-based journalist who has written about inequality, politics and labor for Gawker and In These Times magazine. His book, “The Hammer: Power, Inequality, and the Struggle for the Soul of Labor” (Hachette Books) was published in early 2024. He also publishes the How Things Work blog.
