Aditya Srinivasan is a PhD Candidate in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Working at the intersection of Sociology and Public Policy, Aditya examines the discursive foundations that undergird policy planning, analysis, and implementation. He analyzes the ways in which public policy is transmitted as a narrative, and the ways in which myriad &#8216;publics&#8217; engage with both the praxis of policy implementation and the narratives themselves. Aditya&#8217;s dissertation examines the discursive shifts and continuities that have defined the controversial Interstate 81 highway in Syracuse over its nearly six decade-long history.

Amy Stelly is an artist, designer, and planner, a native of New Orleans and a proud resident of the Treme-Lafitte neighborhood. She is the founder and executive director of the<a href="https://www.claiborneavenuealliance.com/"> Claiborne Avenue Alliance Design Studio</a>, a nonprofit design firm committed to providing access to the languages of design and land use for all. Amy rose to prominence as a freeway fighter when President Biden cited the city’s Claiborne Expressway as an example of infrastructure that has divided and harmed the Treme and 7th Ward communities. She is also a preservationist and land use expert who has led some of the city’s most powerful advocacy groups.
