Nicholas Dagen Bloom

Nicholas Dagen Bloom is a Professor of Urban Policy and Planning at Hunter College and Acting Chair of the Department. His research examines the long-term planning outcomes in essential urban systems, including subsidized housing and mass transportation. He is the author, most recently, of the widely praised book, The Great American Transit Disaster: A Century of Austerity, Auto-Centric Planning, and White Flight (Chicago, 2023).
