Meg Young

Meg Young is a public servant and urban planner who resides in Baltimore. She found her way to transportation planning as a means of combining her experiences in participatory community action in the Peace Corps (South Africa) and piloting a pedicab around the streets of New Orleans. She is currently the Deputy Director of Active Transportation and Micromobility at the Maryland Department of Transportation and has held positions at USDOT, Baltimore City, and the City of New Orleans. Meg leads a multi-modal life filled with hiking, biking, scooting, swimming, and the MARC train.
