Alex Karner

Alex Karner, PhD is an academic researcher. His work critically engages with transportation planning practice to achieve progress towards transportation equity and mobility justice. He was a member of the planning committee for the Transportation Research Board’s 2nd Conference on Advancing Transportation Equity, served on the committee that authored the National Academies consensus study report Elevating Equity in Transportation Decision Making: Recommendations for Federal Competitive Grant Programs, and was lead author of NCHRP Research Report 1000—Accessibility Measures in Practice: A Guide for Transportation Agencies.
