Aditya Srinivasan

Aditya Srinivasan is a PhD Candidate in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Working at the intersection of Sociology and Public Policy, Aditya examines the discursive foundations that undergird policy planning, analysis, and implementation. He analyzes the ways in which public policy is transmitted as a narrative, and the ways in which myriad ‘publics’ engage with both the praxis of policy implementation and the narratives themselves. Aditya’s dissertation examines the discursive shifts and continuities that have defined the controversial Interstate 81 highway in Syracuse over its nearly six decade-long history.
