We happily accept op-ed submissions from individuals and organizations. Op-eds are unpaid and cannot be explicitly promotional in nature or otherwise in violation of our 501c3 status.

We also accept pitches from freelancers. Please send a 100-250 word pitch about the article you wish to write, as well as your rates, anticipated timeline for completion, and any clips from your past work that you wish to provide.

We also accept general inquiries from freelancers available for general assignments. Please share clips from your past work and a few words about the topics on the Streetsblog beat about which you feel most comfortable writing.

If you want to submit a story idea related to a topic of national interest, please send any of the above to kea@streetsblog.org or on Signal.

If this is about a topic related to New York City or state, please contact Gersh Kuntzman at gersh@streetsblog.org. Do not double-pitch.

If your pitch is related a city where there is already a Streetsblog — Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles or San Francisco — please contact the editors of those sites by clicking the link to the city name. Do not double-pitch.
